We had an absolute blast exploring the area and getting our adrenaline pumping. From epic cycling trails to heart-pounding fishing adventures, this place had it all. We even arranged a boat cruise along the river for our crew of ten friends. It was insane, dude! And let's not forget the bird watching, which was surprisingly cool. We were stoked with the activities on offer!
The only thing missing for us party-loving teens was some awesome nightlife nearby. We had all this energy and wanted to keep going even after the sun went down.

Dolphins, seals, and whales entertained me daily; a quiet oasis amidst dry wheatlands; snorkeling in clear pools was a delight; experienced the unique Cape Floral Kingdom.
Who needs a variety of water birds and intertidal ecosystems when you can have dirty water and a bad smell in your own house?

The spacious rooms were well equipped and provided a comfortable retreat. The highlight for us was the opportunity to use the free kayaks and explore the beautiful river. At night, we were able to indulge in some stargazing, magical.

The lodge is located right next to the river, offering a breathtaking view and a peaceful atmosphere. Guests can enjoy activities such as canoeing and barbecuing in this idyllic setting. the accommodations are fully equipped with everything one would need for a comfortable stay, including a well-stocked kitchen. the lodge is also close to the quaintest ferry and provides easy access to the De Hoop nature reserve.
The road leading to and from the lodge could pose a problem for cars with low undercarriages.
